Jamia Qasimul Ulum Dargah Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) (abbreviated as Dargah Madrasa Sylhet ) is a Qawmi Madrasa located next to the shrine of Shahjalal in Sylhet . It was established on 7 November 1961 by Arif Billah Akbar Ali in the light of the principles of Darul Ulum Deoband on the advice of Shafi Usmani .
